Let's design your cabinet

This is a CAD drawing of one of our cabinets so you can see how you can create your sewing setup.

This customer wanted drawers on both sides of the knee space and a Threadwall and a Hoop storage – drop leaf on the back and the left side.

When designing a cabinet – we always start with the knee space. It must be a minimum of 7 inches wider than your machine with all attachments removed. I usually make it 30” or larger if possible. That way it should accommodate most any machine you might have in the future.

Next, we decide on which side you want drawers, or on both sides.  And what other features you want, such as Threadwall(s) and/or Ruler/Hoop wall, etc. Then we decide on which side those will be placed.

You can decide the number and depth of the drawers – and – you can decide on the width of the drawers as well. For instance – this cabinet has a bottom drawer deep enough to store file folders. Drawers on the right side are not as wide because we were trying to keep the cabinet about 6 feet wide.

With all our cabinets – you can choose between Maple or Oak – and you can choose the color stain for the finish.
