The Classic Stitcher solid wood sewing cabinet is absolutely wonderful for the occasional seamstress and the professional as well. Handcrafted with perfection with a closed size - 46" wide - 20" deep - 31" high.
The easy air lift sewing machine platform has three automatic stop positions and is rated at 40 lbs.
The open work space size - 92" wide x 20" deep.
The open knee space is standard 24" wide to accomodate larger machines. This area can be stretched to even a larger area if needed.
Don't have 92 inches of wall space? No problem. Your cabinet can be built with no flip out tops - and I'll add a 16 inch drop leaf across the back instead at no extra charge. This makes your workspace 46 inches wide by 36 inches deep.
A drop leaf of up to 24 inches can also be added to the left side of the cabinet creating a workspace to accommodate whatever wall space you have.
A cover is always included for the opening in the top when the machine is lowered into the cabinet.

Mortised Twin-pin hinges connect the tops to provide a perfectly smooth work area. There are no hinge 'knuckles' standing up to snag the fabric.
The air lift mechanism is shown here in the storage position. One gentle push and the lift raises your machine to the flatbed position, another push and it raises the machine to the tabletop position. It is very easy to operate and each position is adjustable to accomodate the height of your machine.
